With over 45 years at the cutting edge of combat arts, Andy Barker brings world‑class expertise, real‑world experience, and a results‑driven approach to every session he delivers. His training blends the precision of traditional martial arts with the intensity of modern combat sports and the practicality of tactical self‑protection.

Andy’s background spans an exceptional range of disciplines, including Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts, Muay Thai, MMA, Combat Submission Wrestling, Shoot Wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu. His teaching is rooted in functional skill, adaptability, and the mindset needed to perform under pressure.

 

A proven competitor and respected instructor, Andy has earned titles and recognition across multiple arenas — from Southern Area MMA Champion to full‑contact stick fighting competitor and Kick‑Thai‑Boxing athlete. Beyond competition, he is a Level 3 CYQ Fitness Instructor and a Close Combat Black Belt Instructor, trusted to train the Royal Omani Police Force, British military, UK police, and U.S. SWAT teams.
